Rose is a kind girl. She lives with her family – her mum, her dad, and her little brother, Leo. Rose doesn’t like doing her homework, but she likes reading books about dinosaurs. Her brother enjoys swimming in the pool, but Rose hasn't got time to join him.

 

Her best friends are Sarah and Tom. They often play together after school. They don’t like the school playground because it is small. They prefer going to the beach. Rose has got a lot of toys, but she mostly likes soft ones. She doesn’t enjoy playing with dolls. Her favourite toy is a soft brown bear. His name is Teddy. Teddy is very old, but Rose loves him very much. She plays with him every day.

 

One sunny day, Rose and her family went for a picnic in the park to celebrate Tom’s birthday. Rose took Teddy with her. They played, ate sandwiches, and had a lot of fun. 

 

In the evening, when they came home, Rose couldn't find Teddy! She was very sad and started to cry. She looked everywhere, even in the street. Then she saw her parents’ car in the garage. Rose ran to the car and found the bear inside. She was very happy and hugged Teddy.
