Tom Bell is \(10\) years old. His best friend is Alex. They often spend time together. The boys usually ride bicycles on Fridays and go to the cinema at weekends. They always have fun!

 

One sunny day, Tom and Alex went to the zoo. They were glad to see the animals! First, the boys saw lions. Tom liked them because their teeth were big and strong, but Alex was a little scared. Then, they went to see monkeys. Alex laughed because they had little faces, but Tom didn’t like them much. After that, the friends saw giraffes. Tom and Alex thought their long necks were funny.

 

At the end of the trip, the boys went to the zoo café. There were a lot of different kinds of ice cream and cakes. Tom chose chocolate ice cream, and Alex took some pancakes. The friends ate delicious desserts and talked about the zoo. Tom and Alex took a lot of beautiful photos that they will show their grandparents when they visit them. Tomorrow the boys are going to a new swimming pool near the church.
