Here is a short guide on what you should and shouldn't do if you meet the royalty.

 

First and foremost, make sure you know the title of the royal family member you meet. When talking to the King, you should first address him as ‘Your Majesty’. And when you talk to other members of the royal family, you address them as ‘Your Royal Highness’. In general, speak in a formal tone. It’s also important to maintain eye contact during your interaction to show your full attention and respect. Do not interrupt a speaker, but give a response when you are expected to.

Avoid any physical contact such as handshakes and hugs. There may be an exception if a royal gives their hand first.

 

Body language
You should have a good straight posture. Avoid standing in a closed position. It means that you shouldn't cross your arms. Ladies also shouldn't cross their legs when they sit. Dress
