6. Listening. Shopping experience

 

 

Jill: Hi, Sam! I went to the department store . And I didn't buy anything!

 

Sam: Oh, tell me about it!

 

Jill: First, I went  . I looked at the clothes, but everything was very expensive.

Sam: Yes,  there were some sales . Now, it's not very cheap to buy clothes there.

Jill: After that, I went to the bookshop. But there weren't any interesting books, .

Sam: Sometimes it's hard to find a good book.

 
Jill: I was  hungry, so I left the  bookhop  . But I didn't know where to go! So I   went home. I couldn't buy anything!

Sam: What did you want to buy?

Jill: I wanted to buy... Oh! I don't know!

Sam: Well, next time, you should be more careful with your shopping. Maybe you can write a list of things you want to buy. And you can check the department store map to get  there  .

Jill: You're right. I'll try to be more organised next time.
